I have a 1995 70 Hp motor. I have never had a problem with the motor until very recently. the motor starts immediately, idles good and runs at low speed well. I moved the throttle to full power yesterday, and the boat RPM went up somewhat but not as high as it should have, and the boat was not moving fast at all. I took the motor out of gear, and revved it up in Neutral and the motor seemed to rev up just fine. The water flow is fine out of the port. When I put the boat up for the winter last year, I had the water pump changed and the lower unit serviced. The first time out with the boat everything seemed fine. two weeks later, I can not get full power. anyone know what this sounds like?

Welcome!!!!
Revving in neutral tells nothing about the health of your motor. That being said.....
1) Fuel-- Try a fresh tank if fuel is over a month old. Check for leaks or fuel bulb collapsing.
2) Spark--- Verify plugs are firing every stroke with a bright spark
3) Compression --- appx 100 psi and within 10% of each other.

I would guess fuel condition first. If not, check the others and post your results.

Good luck

Might try running on a separate 6 gallon tank with fresh fuel/oil mix with new fittings and bulb and see if that does it. Sounds like you may have picked up some water in the fuel...

You're not running on all three. Either spark or a fueled carburetor.
