Re: Bayliner 1750 LS
Saw them at the boat show earlier this year. Brand new 2005 175 models on display with a sign saying $9,995 with a 3.0 Mercruiser, including a trailer. Not sure if they're still doing that price today, but regardless, that's a heckuva deal to consider after you start searching the used market for a while and would rather just have something new with a warranty. I'm sure the quality is lower than a similar $15K or $20K boat, but when you're saving $5K to $10K, so I figure it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. I'd give Bayliner a serious look if I were looking for another boat. There seems to be a lots of value there since they're so inexpensive.

One tip for you...if you don't know for a fact when it was last done, replace the impeller. A 7 year old boat that has sat still as much as that one probably needs it. Cheap insurance against immediately oveheating your motor.
