johnson service/repair manual

i need a service/repair manual for a 1978 johnson 115. i was looking at this one, anyone own this manual and how are the information covered in the book, accurate/useful? or maybe recommend one?<br />

get the number from kencook site, and look on ebay, you can usually find one.

For the 1978 115HP,the model-specific, OMC factory service manual is definitely a must-have.<br /><br />It does not matter much if it is Evinrude or Johnson. The OMC J/E service manuals for 115HP 1978 covered the 85HP, 115HP, and 140HP. You should find one on Ebay at a good discount. Ebay Example
