The serial for this Mercury Thunderbolt 650 65hp 2 stroke engine is : 50 - 45822 i think<br /><br />Has a Z7 under it i dunno if thats significant <br /><br />It unfortunately doesn't have a serial plate on it anywhere<br /><br />Thanks

I'm new to the forum and refreshing this thread in hopes of identifying the year of my 650 Thunderbolt 3-cylinder 2-stroke. I couldn't locate any serial numbers identified as such, but did find a few possible leads (also shown in attached pics).

On the lower engine block, port side: 1564 4812

On the lower vent section, port side: 5128508

U.S. Patent No: 3773010

Any ideas?
