I have noticed some wizards answer these questions ... I would like to know what year my Mariner [Yamaha?] 3.5hp Ser: 642 S 016163 was built and is there an online source for tech data as the manuals are so expensive? Please?
I have a mariner 30 hp and it has the same "642 S" on the serial number, and it is a 1985 so im assuming (could be wrong) that your motor is a 1985 or near it. Hope that helps.<br />-John
