I strongly suggest that you do not have repair work done by Clinton Marine in Weldon, IL on Clinton Lake. Especially if you have a Bravo 3.<br />Well actually, if your insurance company pays for it, it'll be great for you, but it'll cost a lot of extra money!<br />Just a warning to my fellow Illinoisans, who may be down there for a weekend & need service.

LOL! Or "to" them. There is a local business here that did me wrong to the tune of about $300 in car repairs and I'd love to rat them out but I don't know what the policy is here on that type of thing.

Just want to again issue my warning.<br /><br />The Bravo 3 lower unit that Clinton Marine said had to be replaced (and charged $5300 for the part alone), has been installed on a Bravo 2 upper and is operating again. I will keep you posted if it falls apart, but the owner says it runs great, no vibration. He didn't even replace the case, or put a skeg guard on it, he just filed it smoother, painted it, and bolted it on.
