I ordered and recieved a Mercury Service Manual for my 1999 25 h.p. Merc. In scanning through the book everything looks the same. My question is, the book was printed in 1998 and my engine is a 1999, will the information in the book still be the same through the model years? For ya'll's info the engine serial# is 0T093900 Model# is 1-025301WD. Just wondering. OH!! BTW Merc also sent a real neat softside 6-pack cooler a couple days later. I thought that was mighty nice and sporty of them. THanks again

99 models are made in 98, if it covers your model year, you should be ok.

Hey EF, grandx, JB,<br /><br />Just curious E.F. - You replied to a message of mine the other day, saying that I could buy a model specific manual for my merc straight off the website, but I couldn't figure out where on the site it was... Can you direct me to where I can find the link on the site? I assume you are speaking of mercurymarine.com? If it's through mercurypartsexpress I'll have to get it somewhere else, because my motor is too old (1985). I want to find it on there because everywhere else the manual is like 45 bucks... Thanks GRandx, JB. This engine was purchased in the latter part of 1999. November I think. I got is 2nd hand from the guy that bought it new. He got in a pinch for money.<br /><br />bigbluebirdy, yes I got the manual off parts express. You couldn't type in your serial number and get a list of parts available??
