Wet spark plugs after running.

I have a 75 hp. Merc year 93 and after it runs for awhile and getts wormed up the plugs are still wet . It has not been run for some time and also has a miss in it. Put in premum gas in and carb cleaner and problem is still there. Is this normal. New plugs also. Jim

James46<br /><br />Most 2 cycle motors when they shutdown do not stop the fuel flow, but stop the spark by grounging out the coils. As the motor stops it will turn over a couple times and still pump gas and oil into the cylinder. It sounds like your rough running is caused by your carbs needing overhauled. Use ther search function and type in rough running. If you do not have one now is the time to get a manual.
