starter for '74 merc 35/40 hp

Where can I get a starter for a '74 merc 35/40hp, 2cyl,ser # 3475677. Motor presently has a manual start/recoil; with a mount bracket for a starter that has a 2" diameter body. want to keep it simple; starter, solonoid, switch, and wiring.<br /> flynfish99@hotmail.com

You would probably be better off finding a motor that already has that stuff. If you have to buy all that stuff new, or even good used, it would cost more than that motor is worth, and more than what it would cost you to find a motor of that era with all that stuff on it.
