Quicksilver (Merc) Fuel Stabiliser

What is the view on Quicksliver Fuel additive for the purpose of keeping the fuel clean on Merc 2 strokes using pre-mix ?<br />Label says " removes gum,water, and stabilises fuel"<br />In the off season, we get the occasional fine day so no "Winterising" needed. Motor may sit for max 4 weeks and then run on muffs for 10-15 min.<br />I want to ensure that the carbs stay clean, by periodic running with fresh fuel each time.Would this type of product help?

Shelf live of fuel here in Canada is 14 days...Not sure how the fuel is there...but..rather safe than sorry is my moto.<br /><br />TMD

I use a little marvel mystery oil in mine in the summer and in the winter when it sits for month or so I use stabill . The quicksilver stablizer ought to do the trick though.
