95 150 efi intermitent problems

the problem is lack of power on take off,barely enough to plain out.after a while theres a sudden kick in an the **** thing will run fine!when i stop an fish while,say an hour,start up and same thing!a little history, found a burned out volt regulator,replaced both.[40 amp].replaced both switch boxes.checked feul pump ,everything seems ok there.checked all the conections that i can find for poor connection.got new plugs.i sure hope somebody out there has had the same problem,or can offer some advice! thanks in advance

Hello<br /> You may have fried the stator as well. check for spark on both banks. It sounds as if on bank may be dropping in and out. also check your trigger circuits .<br /> good luck and keep posting

rodbolt, ok one time i went out and brought a spark plug tester,the kind that you hook to a ground ,and when and when it did what it does i stopped an removed the cover and checked for spark on all the wires.every one showed that all were firing.i was kinda leaning towards the stator also ,but i fell like im shooting in the dark on this.

Hell<br /> You will need a tester capable of testing all 6 at once. stevens intruments makes a nice one. you will also need to buy a peak reading multi meter. a standard meter wont work. test the green/striped wires from both packs while the motor is stuggling. look for erratic coil primary voltage.<br /> Good luck and keep us posted
