2000 Optimax Spark plug removal

I am wanting to know if anyone can give me some help on how to remove the spark plugs on my 2000<br />Optimax 150 saltwater outboard so I can spray the cylinders with fogging oil. It does not look<br />like a conventional removal(lawnmower or car type) I have already treated the fuel but need to fog the cylinders.

hello<br /> over the years I got this one down.<br /> a 3/8 ratchet,3"extension and a 5/8ths plug socket.<br /> remove the water hose from the port head. remove the coil connections at the #6 coil assy. wiggle off the wires. and on #5 and 6 you may have to put the socket and extension on the plug then put the ratchet on the extension. its really simple now. the 150 is easier then the 225 for some reason. good luck and keep posting

Rodbolt,what about #1-4 and how are the cylinders arranged looking from the rear of the motor, do I do the same thing you described on cylinder #5 & #6 for 1-4? Thank you.
