Hello everyone. I was wondering if someone can help by giving me the easiest way to remove the bottom cowling off my motor. The lower unit is removed. I have the sealing rubbers removed. I have no idea how to remove this except to remove the powerhead from the driveshaft housing, I really don't want to do this but will if I have to. I have digital pictures of where I am sitting with this at the moment if anyone cares to see. Oh yea the motor is not on the boat, it is on a stand. Please someone HELP!! :)

Powerhead MUST come off to remove the lower cowling... either that or a 5-lb. sledge could remove it but that's a bit less precise...<br />- Scott

Well I removed the powerhead without a hitch, it was easier than I thought. Thank-you for the reply about this Scott.
