Am going to change factory reeds to Boyesen Reeds. Do the two gaskets go on dry or with sealer. Also does reed box seal go in dry or with sealer?
Appreciate any info anyone has got.

Generally, new gaskets on clean surfaces don't need sealer. If the surfaces are damaged or if you are reusing a gasket that came off clean, you need sealer. Use a bit of grease or oil on the reed block seal.

Boysean reads on a little old 25Hp? Why??? Net result would be little or nothing.

Hopeing for a little better lo-idle. Wants to chugg once in-a-while idleing. Have redone carb, comp. OK, slow adjustments to low speed circuit (lean to rich) haven't gotten it completely stopped. Just trying what I can. Thanks for your reply.
