Rectifier for Mariner outboard

Hi guys,<br /><br /> I need your help because we want to install a rectifier on our Mariner 1985 20HP,serial number:A723948 and we have no idea how to install it. If someone knows how to do I <br />would appreciate a lot. Please help me !!! Thanks a lot in advance.

Look at the diagram link.<br /><br />Remove nuts #25 in two places from screw #24. Remove voltage regulator #23. Remove the wires from harness #26. Do all of this after the battery has been disconnected.<br /> Mariner
