Will This Prop Fit???-Please Reply

I hate to keep asking you guys about these props, but I don't want to buy the wrong one. Will a prop from a 1987 80 horse Mercury fit my 1972 Merc 115 Inline 6? It is a 17 pitch, 3 blade SS. The prop has a "through the hub exhaust". I kind of need to know quick. Thanks again.<br /><br />Oh yeah, the only numbers the guy says that are readable are 32530 , P-17 , 7/8. This would be a 17 pitch, right?<br /><br />Billy

i would find out how many rpms your motor turns.try the prop.and do not run over your rpm limit.if it run sat recomended rpm at full throttle then you willhave the right prop.good luck

MY '70 1150 runs best with a 19 pitch.<br />boat is a tri-hull and weighs 1050lbs if that<br />helps.
