need info on how to replace timing belt on old mercury 650/65 hp 4 cyl not sure of year serial # is 2109944

Bones-- You really need a good manual before you start to replace the timming belt. You will need some special tools also. The replacement requires the the fly wheel to be removed. and proper alignment upon replacement with the magneto distributor and piston #1. A good manual will explain it better than most of us could, besure and read it through acouple of times before doing the replacement.
