90 hp merc problem

Could someone tell me if the cylinders on this motor are chrome plated and if they are do you know if there are replacement sleeves avaliable or is the block now junk. 2 cyl has a gouge in it i was told the cyl could be chrome plated serial# is oe072343.thanks

cast bore cyls & can be bored.. if it needs sleaves.. Jim ruck In wisconsin does our stuff best & fastest around... he used to Work for merc Hi perf.. now he's on his own...

Let me know if you want a bolt on replacement powerhead ready to go. I have one sitting in my garage, can ship to your doorstep. Has all wiring, and components, ready to bolt up. Compression is 142-148 in all cyls, she runs excellent. I bought a higher HP powerhead and dont need it as a spare as these things are bulletproof if maintained.
