i recently changed my bad 7 amp stator with a new 14 am stator for a 200 merc 1988 and i blew out a 15 amp fuse at WoT... its ok at low rpm .... so i tried a 20 amp and poof .... so i tried a 30 amp now its fine ......also my batteries were in need of a charge so the draw was real heavy ...im wondering if i can hurt the engine some how? i have alot of devices to power including a 800 watt stereo amp ... wha cha think?? anyone?

Wha di tink?

I tinks ya should put that th're battery on a charger and git 'im all charged up like. Then ya should git an ammeter and chick how mini of them th're amps is comin' out. 'Cause a 14 imp stator should no be put out more than 14 imps, ah?

Cwis..........

Your overloading your system. Divid volts into watts and that gives you the amps your drawing from the system.
