here for control diagrams. Scroll down the list for controls. There are a bunch, and the diagrams aren't exactly the clearest. These are parts diagrams which some of the old ones almost look like they were scanned in from a microfiche.<br />Being a 1965, it looks like your only choice for a service manual is the OEM manual. This manual covers every Merc from 1965 prior. They are still available from Mercury Marine (90-25500 - $35.95). I believe the parts manual is still available also. You may be able to pick one up fairly inexpensively on e-pay.<br /><br />
