1970 65HP Mercury - Need Leg Info

Hi, <br />Trying to help a friend find a leg (lower end) for his O/B. OB is a 1970 Mercury 65HP. Need to know what years and from what size motors the leg will fit this OB (from 1970 to ??) or whatever. <br />Any response is appreciated.

I got a 1965 moter if it will work I will give it to you if you arrange shipment from pittsburgh pa

Seeing I am in Canada it may be a chore to work out the shipping but what the heck, I'll have to check into it.<br />What's wrong with the motor? Is the leg still OK?<br />Please keep in contact.

I just went through the same thing anything from a 65 h.p. to a 150 h.p. will work,excluding the 3cyl 70 h.p.engine

Can anyone absolutely confirm that a leg (entire) from a 1965 Merc 65hp will fit on a 1970 Merc 65hp. Assume both are same length, but most important will they bolt up, shift rod connect etc???<br />Any help appreciated!!<br /><br />Thanks!!
