Hi rusty,

Welcome to a fun group.

If the pin is stuck in the bottom of the crank, then you'll have to remove the powerhead and work in the bottom end of the crank. As for a new pin, just buy a new one, and spring, and put them in the end of the driveshaft and while they're compressed, stake it.

Chris.............

Is the pin broken? If there's any of it exposed, grab it with a set of tower pincers. Yes, that '+' it where the original was staked.

Chris.........

Don't thin kdrilling will work. It's a spring loaded pin and once the drill 'bites' the pin will just spin. Try opening the exsisting stakes. It should just pop out under spring tension.

Chris.............
