Thnx OB, All I know is that the cable that comes from the control on the side of the driver's console goes all the way back to the motor. I am thinking the lighter has it's power coming from another battery. This is really getting depressing!!!

I stuck my screwdriver in the plug wire yesterday and let them turn it over while I helt it to the motor. Nothing. You never even hear the motor trying to fire

Maybe that reply didn't go thru as it should have but what i was saying is that when it happened, I pulled 2 different plug wires and stuck a screwdriver in there and stuck it to the engine. Nothing.

OK, YOU CAN HAVE MY (EX) WIFE IF HER HUSBAND AGREES! ALSO, IT WASN'T REALLLY "THE" KILL SWITCH, ONLY THE ONE TO KEEP ANYBODY FROM CRANKING IT IN THE HAULING POSITION. nOT LIKE A NORMAL KILL SWITCH. sORRY ABOUT NOT KEEPING EVERYTHING IN THE SAME THREAD!! hECK, YOU KNOW i DON'T GOT NO SENSE IF I GOT MYSELF INTO THIS JAM WITHOUT AT LEAST TAKING THE TROLLING MOTOR!!! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING AND GOOD LUCK WITH THE WIFE!!! (GRINS) AM ON MY WAY TO THE RIVER IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES TO TASTE THE DRUITS OF MY LABORS. HAVE A GOOD ONE!!!!!!!!!

Take the orange wires off the switch box There should be two .on the motor .one will go to the harness going to control box,then another will go to small round tube. try to start
