I sold a VERY clean, freshwater, smooth running, easy starting '66 long shaft (500EL) last year for $300, not including controls or fuel tank. Your most likely buyer is either a hobbyist looking for a vintage motor to complete a vintage boat, or a boater on a budget who also happens to be handy with a wrench. Not that the motors need a lot of tinkering, but when they do it's getting harder and harder to find a dealer willing to take on the task of getting it fixed.<br />- Scott
