1978? Merc 50 manual lift cylinders

My brother has a Merc 50 which we think is a 1978. Serial # is 6147263. We need manual trim cylinders for it. Does anyone know a source for these? Used would be ok if new ones are unavailable. Thanks.

The part # for the 'shock absorber' is 55-58780A3. When you say 'manual trim' I assume you mean no electric trim.<br /><br />Part is no longer available from Mercury, try e-bay or a breaker(secondhand dealer).<br /><br /><br />Chris........

Yes, my mistake, I meant to say "Manual Tilt Cylinders". Thanks for the info.
