Hey gang!<br /><br />I'm getting a custom Cockpit cover fitted, and a replacement bow cover made as well for my 1997 Maxum 1700SR. The guy is using Aqualon fabric. He's going to pick it up and deliver it back (about 30 miles or so) and is going to be installing snaps for the cockpit since I only have bimini snaps right now. Cost for the new covers: $375. Does that sound like an okay deal?<br /><br />Second, I do not have a garage for my boat. It sits in my driveway in the weather. I have found out that our local 4H Fairgrounds stores boats/campers/etc. during the winter when their buildings aren't in use for other things. From November 4th to March 4th they charge $30 for a Roof only/not locked storage, and $.75 per foot (length x width) for fully enclosed/locked buildings. (For my boat it would be about $100). Which of these would you recommend? Our winters aren't usually that bad, but last year we did get hit with a storm that dumped 2+ ft in 24 hours, so I do want to get it under a roof at least.<br /><br />Thanks for your input!
