I have a 2003 Mercury 9.9 4 stroke and I would like to know how I should transport it, can I lay it on the side, does it have to stand upright or can I stand it on edge. Thanks
Check the Owner's Manual there should be some instructions. My 2003 Yamaha 4 stroke shows how to lay the outboard, it can be transported in two positions.<br />1) upright<br />2) horizontal (on the tiller arm)
