mercury 50HP

I have a 2004 mercury 50HP that starts fine after sitting for a few days. I run it for a while, shut it off and fish then it wont start until it has set for a day or two then it will start fine. Is something getting hot that wont let it start?

What's your hot/warm starting procedure? Two-stroke or four-stroke engine?
