Hi, I'm Bandit86, and I'm a boataholic

Just want to say hellop to all you guys, my name is Norm, in London Ontario, just picked up an 87 bayliner ciera 2455, my first boat. On the way home, it started snowing, go figure. She needs a campertop and a trailer, but I'm happy to own her. I still need top name her as well, so if anyone has any good suggestions on names or tops/trailers (cheap) let me know. Thanks.

Welcome Bandit, I am also a boataholic a little south of you. I think Roscoe has come up with a really good name for your boat.If you guys have a swap sheet or pennysaver up there you can find great bargins on trailers and other things.

She's nice and winterized, the sea trial will have to wait till spring. I'm looking for a marina on Lake Erie, someplace close to good swimming. <br /><br />SNOWFLAKE? she's big and almost all blue with vinyl stickers. Dont you mean Blueball?

not him personally, but had some run-ins with his kind in my younger days Actually I picked this name a long time ago when message boards were first coming out, it's the same name on all the 4x4, bimmer and what else message boards I'm on

Welcome aboard, you're into BOATing (Break Out Another Thousand) there is nothing cheap about boats, you are right about one thing though, it is an addiction. Bandit,<br /><br />Check out some of the other posts here for boat names, although I'm sure you'll want something original. My first wife kept telling me I could buy a boat when "hell freezes over" so two days after the divorce I bought... "Hell Froze Over"<br />My second boat's name required no explanation.... "Rainmaker"

Welcome Bandit. <br /><br />My name is Jeff, and I'm a boataholic. <br /><br />I'm up in Whitby Ontario, just a few clicks east of Toronto. Noticed you mentioned you need a camper top. I got mine replaced in 2004 by a boat builder in East Caladon. Take a look on a map and see if it's too far for you. It only took 2 weeks and for my boat, a 21 footer, he did it all including new poles etc for 1200 bucks. He even let me store the boat on site for free over the winter.
