Merc classic 50 throttle linkage pic needed please

Just put my classic 50 (the later 4cyl without the distributor) on my rib but the throttle lever pivot bolt had come undone during transport and the spring in the bit that joins it to the spark advance has fallen out. I've put it back in but not 100% sure I've got it right as the motor sounds flat when fired up. Has anyone got a pic of one so I can use it for reference? My seloc manual is useless...

Is the linkage the same as a 1972 or 1975 distributor model 50hp? If so I can take pics of mine.<br />Eric

Thanks but it's not the same-there's a 2 part linkage on mine with a big coil spring in it that controls the ignition advance as it doesn't have a distributor.

Oh ya, I guess the linkage on mine goes to the distributor you don't have :D
