1985 Merc 150hp XR2 V6

Well, the hits just keep on coming with this motor. Checking the condition of my plugs after running the motor on muffs tonight, I found milky white on #6. What are the possibles here? Crank seals? Head gasket? Any and all responses welcome.

Dave..

The most obvious would be the head gasket. Do a compression check if you are able to.

I just tore down a 1995 200 with the exhaust gasket burned out. motor was ruined because it had been happening too long. water was comeing through exhaust # 6 cylinder.

Just did a compression check on all cylinders and compression has gone up in #6 to about 130, all others about 110. I guess this would rule out the head gasket..

Dave..
