Best guess at year??

Guess 94-95. If you post ser# we can tell for sure.

I don't have the serial number, just the picture at the moment but that sounds about right. Where would I find out some real technical info about this engine?

I would advise that you get a genuine Mercury manual. They cost more but are well worth difference.

Ok serial number is: 0G243305 and I think the model number is: 1100412RD.<br /><br />edited
