Mercury Lower unit

I'm looking for some instructions on the removal and disassembly of a 1999 Mercury 150 HP outboard. If anyone can help with this, I would appreciate it. I have some familiarity with OMC engines. This is my first Mercury and I suspect there is something wrong with the linkage.

Before thinking about a tear down, make sure it's not a external linkage problem, first you will need a manual and some special tools

I have a 1970 65hp mercury outboard motor. It runs but will not go in forward or reverse. Any ideas on what might be wrong? Put away for season and this season will not go into gear?

How do i determine if it is a linkage problem, what do I check?
