HI.<br />Got a 75hp mercury and it runs rough on low rpm,<br />Have clean all (3) carbs no dirt in side...<br />Can smell some gas after running WOT.<br />Shuld i order cab kit and fule pump kit!?<br />Or is it a timming problem?<br /> Please help..
I take it you cleaned the carbs and then put them back together using old parts? Why bother.<br />If the engine runs ok at WOT its not a fuel pump problem. Chances are you did not get the low speed passages clean or it simply needs to have the idle mixture adjusted. Timing does not generally just suddenly change unless something is worn or broken.
