Help! 1997 C 90 long shaft.<br />I've managed to remove the spanner ring nut and rear bearing housing that was under it,With much aggrivation and patient persistance, but the manual says the shaft should now come out by grabing it and pulling, after its put in nuetral.<br />Problem is that it can't be put in nuetral due to stripped shifter spline, (the reason for teardown to begin with).How do I get the prop shaft and shifter mechanism out of the housing now.I'm not concerned about hurting the shift assy.,because I'm sure its fu-barred, but I don't want to damage the shaft or gears, or case.<br />Only experts reply PLEASE?
