Well i swapped my 1990 oil injected 115 over to a 2000 non oil injected without much trouble everything hooked up just like rodbolt said except i'm left with one wire which braches off of the big 10pin connector right at the connector located on the motor side. Its gray with a black line anybody got any ideas?

Thanks

Re: One last wire

im new to this , but could it have anything to do with not having oil injection anymore, maybe a low oil level sensor or something along these lines?

Re: One last wire

I traced the wire into the cdi unit and out of the cdi to the temp sensors on the heads so what do you think it hooks up to? The buzzer? Or is it power in maybe?

Thanks

hello
yep its a wire for a visual indicate for one of the multifunction gages.if your meter has the capeability then it will have a gray bullet connector at the engine end of the 4 pin trim harness. if it does not then secure it out of the way and go boating.
good luck and keep posting
