Hi all my 1st post on here, I live in the uk and have just found this site its brill, I wonder if any of you guys could advise about my suzuki 65 autolube its about a 1989 engine and mounted on a dive RIB, anyway me and my dive buddys were out on it yesterday and its top speed was down from 27knts to about 21knots since last time out, about 2 weeks ago, in that time I was looking at the wiring loom that goes to the lube oil contents float, the one with the 2 floats on a brass tube that goes in the oil tank, and found the snap connector on the wiring for it, I think it had 3 wires anyway the connectors in the plug were very corroded tried to clean them dont think I did a very good job, now the thing is if there were a bad contact in this plug would that cut the engine revs restricter in, thinking this may be our prob and is there a way to confirm this by maybe bypassing the oil level sender to see if we get max revs back, hope I am making sense here.

Regards Nick in the UK.

Hi brian thanks for your very kind offer, that would be fantastic if you could please, my e-mail address is nickjaxe@aol.com it is a club boat and I am the one who looks after it, I think it is time we were getting a new one as this boat needs constant attention.

Regards nick.
