I am replacing a 135 merc with a 2005 yamaha f150... am I going to need anything special to switch the sea star steering..... when i bought the stearing piston i kind of remember there being an extra part.....for Yamaha....of course i lost the peice ....any body know or remember what i may need... or will it switch w/ out any problems?....thank you

hello<br /> yep it will fit. it should also use the same spacers. the thin spacer was for some oddball old v6(96-98) yams. the mount goes under the tiller not over like the merc did.
