Can I convert a pull start to electric?

I´m trying to find out if it is possible to convert a Yamaha 75 Enduro from pull start to electric. I do not have model number, but it doesn´t appear to be any older than mid to late 80´s. I am in El Salvador and am assuming it is different than domstic models. I will try to locate model number today or tomorrow, but if someone could give me a yea or nea asap I would greatly appreciate it.

You almost certainly can convert it, Slider. It can't be that much differrent than models sold in US and Canada.

the cost may be dicey though. does your flywheel have the teeth for a starter drive ?

It cost $1500 Ca $'s to convert a Yamaha 30hp. I would bet a 75 woiuld be even more.

Thanks for the input. The good news about $1500 or more to convert is that my boss will probably opt for a brand new 90hp Honda 4stroke. I can deal with that.
