Does anyone have any recomendations for make/model/installation companies of aftermarket bow thrusters?<br /><br />Thanks in advance for the info!

Vetus makes most of the small-boat thrusters. <br />If you google "Vetus" you will find a lot of information, including firms that install them.<br /><br />They are known as a quality product, but beware....<br /><br />1) Installation can be very complicated. You are opening up the hull in two places in a critical area - not a DIY job for most people. (Can you even get to that part of the hull from the inside without ripping half the boat apart)? Professional installation is likely to be really expensive.<br /><br />2) You need serious electrical power to run those things. Your battery and charging system needs to be carefully examined.

You can also look at external thrusters, cool design and no headaches. I've tried it and the response is awesome. Google it and you'll see, neat idea.
