I assume the above model number is a 6HP long shaft, right? Does Yamaha have a reverse parts list so you can take a pn and find where it is used? <br /><br />Thanks

maunaual start 20" (long) shaft, tiller handle 1996 model.<br /> yes the parts smart has a where used function.<br /> type in the part number and it will bring up all the models used on.

rodbolt, can you clarify how to find where a part number is used? Another words what other applications other than the engine it came from?<br /><br />Thanks.

you will have to have a dealer do it, that site cannot use the where used function.

That stinks, no other site? I have a bunch of Yamaha parts I want to sell. Other than looking up one at a time, no other way huh? <br /><br />Like the CDI pn looks the same from 86-96 on a 6 hp, probibly good for several others - any easy way to tell?<br /><br />Thanks.
