I am new to this site and to suzuki outboards. About 4 months ago I bought a 25 ft deck boat with a 1987 Suzuki Dt140 on it.
Then 2 months ago I rebuilt the carbs, changed out water pump, head gasket, had the heads resurfaced, and replaced the temp sender.
All was well and ran excellently. It has sat for about 2 more months with out use with fresh gas, and went to take it out on the river and found I have no spark on any cylinder, fuel flow is fine, engine cranks fine.
I have read a little about the oil pressure sender, but have no idea where it is or how it works. I currently have about 4 1/2" of oil in the oil tank.
Does the sender sense my gravity fed preesure out of the tank (oil depth)? How and where do I disable this to check it? Does this sound like my problem or is it the freakin $730 module?
I havent got my manual in the mail yet from browns point so any help is greatly appreciated.
I have learned alot from this forum and also very much appreciate all the input on it.

you are going to need the manual to check the electronics on motor but you do have the kill switch hooked up

The kill switch is built into the start key switch on the bottom of the shifter, so it was deffinatly in place and plugged in, I will bypass it though when I get a chance to guarentee it. Any other suggestions or things to check? Thanks for the quick response.
