I have a chance to purchase an outboard motor that might need a powerhead. What year might this motor be and were would be a good place to search for the powerhead?<br />Motor: Suzuki DT 55 05501 808303..Any help would be appreciated..
you have 1988 model, powerheads are difficult to find for your model and if you do find it, it will be very expensive, you can buy a complete motor for the same price .... but that is just my opinion .. good luck
Thanks greatly for the reply. I finding out the same thing locally about the cost of the PH. Any where from $1800 to $2600. I thnk I'll stay away from this headache of an outboard!!
