I am searching for a shop or a tech that knows these motors and is willing to adjust my carb and go thru the motor.<br /><br />I think it is a 1964 it is a Fishing Scott, and it is a 7 1/2 horse. good luck and post us if you find one. they had no dealer support in the fifties and early sixties but there are still some of the motors about

You might be able to find an independant fellow to service this motor. I am thinking it will be tough. The biggest problem is parts are not as easily available as with other makes. Also one hours labor is usually worth more than the motor and Scott- McCullochs don't eat real well. I suggest that you go to the library and study up on this motor, (they should have some sort of manual that will work). Then with help recived here, take is project your self.

Thanks for your help. I found an older gentlemen in tampa that took the job, I have order a set of condensors. I think I am going to end up buying another one.<br />Thanks<br />Steve
