NEED ADVICE

I just bought a 15 foot speed boat that has an inclosed bow im just wondering if i cut a hole in the piece that covers the bow will i weaken my structure the reason i wanna do this is so i can put like a hatch door to store things in the boat

Shouldn't be a problem, but only a test hole and mirror on a stick will answer your question of what's actually in there.... <br /><br />But can't you access the space in the bow from under the dashboard/windshield? I'd be more inclined to put a hole/door down there on that panel...would be much easier to get to things from inside the boat than having to crawl over the windshield when you want something. But I haven't seen your setup...
