I was wondering if anyone had any info about a Clinton 7.5 hp Model # K7003108D Seriel # 1261311. My neighbour just sold it to me. Was hoping to find the year made, premix ratios etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where would I start to look for info on the Clinton company?

Thanks. :)

The K700 first appeared in 1970 at 7 hp.
Fuel mix is 4 ozs per gallon. Most reccomend 2 cycle chain saw oil.
You could try this number for parts and maybe they have some info.
As you may know Clinton has been out of Business for some time.
The motor power head is air cooled with a water cooled exhaust leg.

Thanks for the help...much appreciated.

How does the cooling of the exhaust leg work? Is there some sort of pump inside? I see that there is an intake port of sorts just below the anticav plate and an exhaust port about halfway up. Is is just the way the exhaust gas is routed through the exhaust leg? How much water is supposed to come out of the lower leg when the motor is fullout?
