Anyone heard of Carniti outboards?

I think Carniti made Diesels. Those are the only Carnitis I ever heard of. That one clearly isn't a Diesel.

Cool looking engine though: dual carbs, looks like small displacement, thru-hub exhaust. Must be Italian. <br />I think Carniti had a strong presence on the racing circuit in the '60s. Chinewalker probably knows a whole lot more.<br />Looks like they went under in 1980...

Carniti make an excellent Diesel Outboard Motor. Air Cooled. Electric and Pull Start. Real Workhorses. Run Fotever.
