I recently bought a 7hp Mongomery Ward Sea King and found that the float was cracked and soldered. I need to find a new float or carb and a manual. Also, I would like to know what year this engine is. The model# is K700 1107A and the carb is a Walbro lmb179. I tried the phone# 319-652-2411 listed for Clinton Engine Corp in another posting and it would not go through.

Re: Carb trouble for 7hp Sea King

The number I have is 1-563-652-2411.I dialed it and it rang but I didn't wait for an answer.I don't have specific info but the K700 first appeared in 72.Even though Clinton has been out of business for some years you might find new or used parts at a long established small engine shop. The Clinton built motor is not one I would spend too much money and time on.Unless you just like to tinker.

Thanks for the info spike. I already got a new float and the motor runs good now. If you or anyone else happens to get their hands on a manual, let me know.
