hi there,<br />does anyone know the carb settings (mixture,timing,the top screw on the carb)for the clinton model j7001000a.(think its 5 hp,1957)<br />if you need it ser. no. 360264.<br />you helped with my johnson,so i know you lot know wot you are talking about.<br />many thanks<br />peter

Welcome back to iboats. <br /><br />Mine was slightly newer, but a 7Hp. The upper lo-speed jet was out about a turn. The lower hi-speed jet was about 5/8 of a turn. Yours should be in that ballpark.
