    All, I'm strongly considering a DIY install of sea water air conditioner in my 2000 Sea Ray Sundancer 240 this winter. I'm just wondering if anyone out there has done this before and I'm looking for any advice they may offer.

    Gas smell in cabin 240 Sundancer

    Greetings, I just bought a 2000 240 Sundancer and I have noticed a faint gasoline smell in the cabin after the boat sits for about a week. Is this something to be concerned about? If so what do I need to do? I'm worried about sleeping in the boat and inhaling fumes.

    backfires but runs great

    I have a 1985 85 HP Force outboard.<br /><br />Occassionally, I'd say once ever three strats, the engine backfires. After the backfire, the engine will start and run fine.<br /><br />Any idea what could be causing this?
